Global Peace Foundation Kenya Joins the Launch of the UNESCO’s Framework for Enabling Intercultural Dialogue

Global Peace Foundation Kenya under the invitation of UNESCO attended the regional launch of the UNESCO framework for enabling intercultural dialogue and accompanying global report “We need to Talk” on 20th February 2023.

The initiative is aimed at preventing conflict, promote reconciliation and social cohesion, sustainable peace and uphold and protect human rights standards.

The launch of the “Framework for Enabling Intercultural Dialogue and “We need to Talk”, Measuring intercultural dialogue for Peace and inclusion in East Africa’s focus is to help countries and communities analyze the gaps, challenges and opportunities in countries and the region and leverage more on intercultural dialogue for a better understanding and management of violence and diversity.
