

Nairobi, Kenya | 13 June, 2025.
The Africa Regional Representative of Global Peace Foundation, Mr. Daniel Juma Omondi, accompanied by Irene Kizito of Global Peace Women, Savanna McWilliams from Pepperdine University, and Programs Associate Mr. Benjamin Kitonga, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Protocol, Amb. Josphat K. Maikara, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters. Amb. Maikara was joined by his Deputy, Mr. Samson Koech.
The meeting focused on the upcoming International Religious Freedom (IRF) Summit, scheduled for 16th to 18th June 2025 at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.
Mr. Juma shared a brief overview of the summit, highlighting the role of Global Peace Foundation Kenya as a key stakeholder. He emphasized the importance of the Ministry’s support, particularly in facilitating the attendance of high-level guests, including the former First Lady of Nigeria, among other dignitaries.
Amb. Maikara reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the summit, assuring the delegation of their readiness to collaborate and ensure the success of this significant event.
