Global Peace Foundation Kenya

Zoom meeting attendance of the Cohort 6 orientation

Global Peace Foundation Kenya today successfully held the President’s Fellowship & Chandaria Legacy Awards Orientation, marking the official start of a transformative leadership journey for Fellows drawn from diverse backgrounds across the country.

The orientation brought together the selected Fellows for an immersive introduction to the Fellowship’s vision, values, and expectations—grounded in principled leadership, service, and nation-building. Through interactive sessions, the Fellows were introduced to the program structure, learning milestones, and the Global Peace Foundation’s philosophy of values-based leadership anchored on the belief of One Family under God.

Speaking during the session, program leaders emphasized the importance of ethical leadership, civic responsibility, and collaboration in addressing Kenya’s social, economic, and governance challenges. Fellows were encouraged to view leadership not as a position, but as a responsibility to serve communities and contribute to lasting peace and development.

The President’s Fellowship & Chandaria Legacy Awards program continues to serve as a flagship leadership development initiative by Global Peace Foundation Kenya, nurturing young leaders who are committed to integrity, unity, and positive social impact.

As the Fellows embark on this journey, Global Peace Foundation Kenya looks forward to walking alongside them in shaping a new generation of leaders equipped to lead with purpose, character, and conviction.
