Dr. Hyun Jin Preston Moon
Dr. Hyun Jin Preston Moon is the founder and leader of several international peace organizations and a recognized and knowledgeable thought leader on Korean reunification and author of the award-winning book, “Korean Dream,” which articulates a vision for reunification based on the aspirations of the Korean people.
Born in Korea to a family active for Korean independence and unification over four generations, Dr. Moon’s background gives him a unique perspective on Korea’s future and its global significance for peace and development. In various capacities, he works across lines of identity including culture, ethnicity, nationality and religion to foster the moral, innovative leadership necessary to resolve the most pressing issues in our world today

Rev. Canon Rosemary Mbogo
Former Provincial Secretary of the Anglican Church of Kenya
Rev. Canon is the Former Provincial Secretary of the Anglican Church of Kenya. An ordained Priest and Canon of the Church, she is currently the Chairperson of the National Council of Churches of Kenya (N.C.C.K.). Canon Rosemary holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master’s in Theology and Biblical Counselling, is a teacher, Head-teacher, Inspector of schools, lecturer, and University Council Member. Her book “Woman, a vessel of Honour and Great Potential” expresses her desire to uplift women.

Mr. Daniel Juma Omondi
Executive Director, Global Peace Foundation Kenya
Mr. Daniel Juma Omondi is the Executive Director of the Global Peace Foundation in Kenya, a US based non-profit with Chapters in more than 25 countries. Before joining the Global Peace Foundation, Daniel worked for the Korean government as a Trade and Investment officer at the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) where he helped champion Korea’s economic diplomacy in Kenya and the East African region.
At GPF Kenya, Daniel steers the implementation of education and youth empowerment programmes that address and prescribe innovative solutions to the 21st century challenges facing the youth and the education sector such as the Character and Creativity Initiative, Leaphubs business incubator spaces in schools and colleges, the Great Places To School which recognizes outstanding schools and the President’s Fellowship a premier mentorship and leadership development programme to mentor the next generation of African leaders.
Daniel has a BA in Political Science & Korean Studies from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in International Studies from the Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies (IDIS). He has several certifications from the New York based Auschwitz Institute for the Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities including Foundations in Mass Atrocity Prevention.

Mr. David Caprara
International Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, Global Peace Foundation
David Caprara is Vice-President for Strategic Partnerships with the Global Peace Foundation in Washington, D.C. He is also a Nonresident Fellow on International Volunteering and Service at the Brookings Institution and board member of the Africa Conference on Volunteer Action for Peace and Development. He previously served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and as director of Faith-Based Initiatives at the Corporation for National and Community Service.

Former Director and Secretary of Board of Management at the Center for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA)
Mr. Stephen is the former Director and Secretary of Board of Management at the Center for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA).
CEMASTEA is mandated by the Ministry of Education to build and enhance capacity of mathematics and science teachers and providing quality in-service Education and Training (NSET).
He served as the Chief Principal of Moi Forces Academy, which was the first school to implement the Character and Creativity Initiative and Leap Hubs. He is the CEO of SMASE Africa Association.

Ms. Diana Kwamboka
Program Manager Advocacy & Events, Metis
Diana Kwamboka is a skilled Project Manager with a Master’s in Business Administration, specializing in Project Management. With a proven record of accomplishment in designing, implementing, and overseeing complex projects, Diana brings a strategic and detail-oriented approach to her work. Currently serving as Program Manager Advocacy & Events at Metis, Diana plays a pivotal role in implementing world-class programming for education leaders and entrepreneurs. Her responsibilities include collaborating with senior management to align strategies, organizing impactful
events, and contributing to partnership development. Diana’s expertise extends to community engagement, advocacy, and effective communication.
With a focus on comprehensive project planning, Diana excels in ensuring alignment with project objectives. Her expertise extends to developing and maintaining project- related systems and documents, facilitating efficient communication among team members and stakeholders.
Diana’s collaborative nature shines through in her ability to actively contribute to knowledge capture and sharing within professional communities. She plays a key role in planning and executing events, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Recognized for her proficiency in implementing efficient systems and project plans, Diana ensures the accurate and real-time management of critical project data. She is adept at providing ad-hoc support when needed, showcasing her flexibility and responsiveness.
Diana’s commitment to excellence, coupled with her strategic mindset, positions her as a valuable asset in dynamic and forward-thinking projects.
Ms. Diana has previously served at the Global Peace Foundation Kenya as the Education Director and her expertise and networks have contributed to the immense outreach of the programs.
